In a chilling incident, a young man in Mumbai lost his leg and hand while attempting a dangerous stunt with a moving train. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the perils of performing life-threatening stunts for social media fame.

A video of the youth had gone viral recently, showing him performing a stunt by holding onto the gate of a moving train and sliding on the platform with his feet. Following the video's emergence, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) sprang into action, but when they reached his residence, they discovered that the youth had already met with a horrific accident while attempting another stunt.

The youth, who is now bedridden, revealed to the RPF that the viral video was shot in March, but in April, he attempted another stunt, which resulted in the loss of his limbs. The Central Railway has shared the youth's video, appealing to people not to imitate such stunts.

Social media users are emphasizing the need for awareness campaigns against such stunts, suggesting that graphic videos showcasing the consequences of these actions be played in cinema halls to deter people from attempting them. Many have also urged the police and relevant authorities to take stringent legal action to prevent such incidents. This incident highlights the risks of performing dangerous stunts for social media fame and serves as a warning to those who attempt to imitate such actions.
