Bhopal: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed sports complex at Rajiv Gandhi University of Technology, Bhopal. It also launched the Inter University Level Badminton Competition 2022. As a result, the CM also tried his hand at the badminton court and surprised the audience with his 'smash'.
The CM was accompanied by sports minister Yashodhara Raje and vice chancellor of RGPV along with other officials. Speaking on the occasion, The Chief Minister, Shri Chouhan also encouraged the sportspersons by playing badminton. The CM said PM Narendra Modi ji has called for a self-reliant India. For this, a self-reliant MP has to be fabricated. The youth have an important role to play in this. I call upon all the youth to come forward and play your active role.
He also said that sports activities are also essential for students along with studies. Games are essential for a healthy body. A healthy man can contribute better to the development of the nation. The goal of education is to give the rites of citizenship. At the same time, students need to keep their body healthy. The youth have to set the goal of life and focus on achieving it. He said Swami Vivekananda called upon the youth to contribute to all sectors. If the youth grow, the country will also grow. He said that the 21st century will belong to India, in which the youth will contribute immensely.
