The date of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test for teacher vacancy in Rajasthan has gone ahead. Earlier, the exam was due on 25th April, but now the examination will be held on 20th June. A press release issued by the government said that the examination is canceled to provide benefits of reservation of economically backward characters.

While presenting the budget, CM Ashok Gehlot announced that reservations will also be given to EWS category people in the REET examination. Due to this, the date of examination has been extended further. Dr. Chairman, Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and Chief Coordinator REET, DP Jaroli said that soon the EWS candidates will be given an opportunity to apply for the test.
The same dates will be announced soon. REET exam is Rajasthan's largest teacher recruitment test. But the examination has not been conducted for the last three years. The last test was held in 2018. In Rajasthan, 31 thousand posts of teachers are lying vacant for quite some time. These 31 thousand posts will be recruited through this examination.
