After marriage, new challenges came in Rakhi's life. Gulzar had put a condition that Rakhi would not work in films after marriage, but Rakhi soon decided to return to films. Due to this decision, a rift started between her and Gulzar. According to media reports, during the shooting of a film, there was a fight between the two in Kashmir, after which there was a rift in the relationship between Gulzar and Rakhi.
Rakhee gave many hits in her film career, including 'Mere Sajna,' 'Angaare,' 'Kabhi Kabhie,' 'Doosra Aadmi,' 'Kasme Vaade,' 'Kaala Patthar,' and 'Shriman Shrimati .' However, her personal life was not without challenges. Differences with Gulzar led to her divorce and they separated.
Today, Rakhi Gulzar lives alone at her farm house in Panvel near Mumbai . She has distanced herself from public life and has very little contact with the media. During her career, Rakhi has seen many ups and downs in her personal life as well as in acting. But facing all these challenges, she has created an identity of a strong and inspiring woman.
