Central Election Commission has announced the election schedule for the vacant seats in Rajya Sabha. Elections will be held on March 26 for Rajya Sabha seats. Three seats of Rajya Sabha are getting vacant in Madhya Pradesh too. On this day, new MPs will be elected for these three seats.

On February 13, the Central Election Commission held an important meeting with the returning officer of the state in Delhi. Election preparation was reviewed in it. Due to the election process on the 26th, it is now clear that if the election for these three Rajya Sabha seats of the state comes, then the voting will take place during the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha. The budget session of Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly is starting from March 16, which will run till April 13. MLAs of the Vidhan Sabha vote in the Rajya Sabha elections, so they have to send separate information. But due to the budget session, now this process will be completed during the session itself.

In April, three seats of the Upper House are getting vacant from Madhya Pradesh. Of these, 2 BJP and one Congress currently have. But with the change of power in the state, the mathematics of Rajya Sabha seats has also changed. Currently, these three seats are Digvijay Singh from Congress and Prabhat Jha and Satyanarayan Jatiya MP from BJP.
