Jaipur: Ashok Chandna, a minister in the Ashok Gehlot government, had to face the attack of slippers and shoes during the bone immersion program of Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla in Ajmer, Rajasthan. When shoes and slippers were being thrown at Congress leader Ashok Chandna, in the meantime, slogans of Sachin Pilot Zindabad were also being raised on the spot. In such a situation, Minister Ashok Chandna had to stop his speech midway. He was very angry with this uproar and he expressed his displeasure on Twitter on 12 September itself at 10:05 pm.

Ashok Chandna wrote in his tweet, 'If Sachin Pilot becomes the Chief Minister by throwing a shoe at me, then he should become because today I do not feel like fighting. The day I come to fight, there will be the only one left and I don't want it.' Along with Rajasthan minister Ashok Chandna, another minister Shakuntala Rawat was also shown black clothes and shoes. Ashok Chandna blamed Sachin Pilot for this and threatened to avoid only one if there was a fight. The incident took place on Monday (September 12, 2022) evening.

The bone immersion ceremony of Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla was held at Pushkar Mela Ground. In this meeting, as soon as Ashok Chandna, a minister in the Gehlot government, reached the stage, the people present below started throwing shoes and other things. During this time, the people present there protested against Ashok Chandna as well as shouted slogans of Sachin Pilot Zindabad.

The protesting people also stopped Shakuntala Rawat, tourism minister in the Rajasthan government, from giving a speech. During this time, the crowd present there not only showed shoes and black clothes to minister Ashok Chandna, but water bottles were also thrown at him. The video of this ruckus has also become fiercely viral on social media. Let me tell you that this whole development has come to light at a time when former party president Rahul Gandhi is out on a 'Bharat Jodo' yatra, trying to rebuild the Congress. Meanwhile, the news of 'Congress Todo' in Rajasthan has increased the party's concern.
