Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday presented the last budget of his current term in the Assembly. However, at the beginning of the budget, the Chief Minister made a big mistake. Actually, CM Ashok Gehlot started reading the old budget in his speech. Meanwhile, PHD Minister Mahesh Joshi asked the Chief Minister to stop the budget. During this, the opposition created a ruckus. The House had to be adjourned for half an hour. The opposition alleged how did they come to know that the CM was reading the old speech, which means that the budget has been leaked.

In fact, Chief Minister Gehlot, who reached the Assembly after announcing the budget to save and provide relief, started reading his speech. By the time he read 2-3 paragraphs, he did not understand anything whether he was reading this year's budget or the old year's budget. Meanwhile, Mahesh Joshi, minister of the public health engineering department and groundwater department sitting behind him, probably has some doubts, so he gets up from his seat, goes back, and immediately comes and says in the chief minister's ear stop the speech. When Gehlot asks the minister the reason for this, the minister gently tells him, "You are reading the old budget speech. After which the Chief Minister immediately saw the date, and he himself was surprised.'' However, after this, he started smiling, hiding his mistake.

Meanwhile, BJP MLAs created a ruckus in the House alleging that the budget was leaked. Members were asked by the Speaker to remain calm. When the ruckus did not stop despite repeated appeals, the Assembly proceedings were adjourned for half an hour. After the commencement of the proceedings of the House, Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Gubal Chand Kataria said that the budget has been leaked and hence it cannot be presented. At the same time, CM Gehlot denied the allegation of a budget leak and said that an extra page was inserted in the speech by mistake. He said that he is reading the copy of the budget distributed in the House.

Let us tell you that the budget is prepared by the Finance Minister and the Finance Ministry of Rajasthan is with CM Gehlot.
