Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) nationwide membership drive, titled ‘Sanghatan Parva, Sadasyata Abhiyan 2024,’ today at 4:30 pm. The event will take place at the BJP Headquarters Extension Office in Delhi, where BJP National President JP Nadda will also be in attendance.
The BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, is launching this extensive membership campaign from September 2, 2024, aiming to expand its base across the country. The campaign will focus on reaching out to a broad audience, with the membership process available through missed calls (8800002024), the NaMo App, QR codes, and traditional paper forms. This approach ensures inclusivity, particularly for individuals in areas with limited mobile coverage or those without mobile phones.
A dedicated National Team, led by National General Secretary Vinod Tawde, has been established to manage the campaign. Additional teams at the state, district, and Mandal levels, along with various Morchas and Cells, will support the drive, emphasizing coordination across media, social media, and IT platforms.
The membership drive will unfold in two distinct phases: the first from September 2 to September 25, and the second from October 1 to October 15. Each phase is designed to achieve specific goals, ensuring the campaign reaches all corners of the nation. Membership targets will be set at every level, from Booth to State, based on the party’s recent electoral performances.
In preparation for this initiative, state-level workshops were held from August 19 to 21, district workshops from August 22 to 24, and Mandal workshops are scheduled for August 25 to 27. On August 31, a meeting of Page Pramukhs will be organized at all booths to finalize preparations.
After the national launch on September 2, the campaign will be rolled out across all states on September 3 or 4, followed by district-level launches on September 5 or 6. A "Sadasyata Sahayogi" (Membership Assistant) will be appointed at each Shakti Kendra to oversee the "Mahasampark" (Grand Outreach) phase, which will take place from September 10 to September 17.
To ensure the success of the drive, the party has planned regular review meetings, with a strong focus on media and social media engagement. The overall goal is to boost the campaign’s effectiveness and broaden the party’s outreach.
