Crude oil prices are once again seeing a jump in the international market. Brent crude oil has crossed $86 per barrel in the international market. At the same time, there is no expectation of any change in the prices of gasoline and diesel in the Indian market. Oil prices have been stable across the country for a long time.

Same today, on April 16th also, the price of petrol in the national capital Delhi is fixed at Rs 96.72 and diesel at Rs 89.62 per litre. Petrol price in Mumbai is Rs 106.31 per litre, and diesel is Rs 94.27 per litre. Apart from this, the cost of petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 per litre, and diesel is priced at Rs 94.24 per litre. At the same time, petrol is being sold at Rs 106.03 per litre and diesel at Rs 92.76 per litre in Kolkata. According to IOCL, the cheapest petrol in the country is in Port Blair, where it costs Rs 84.10 and diesel at Rs 79.74. From May 2022 until now, the prices of petrol and diesel are unchanged at the national level.
