New Delhi: Crude oil prices in the global market are seeing a big decline during the last 24 hours. Yes, and its impact was also seen on the retail prices of petrol and diesel released on Wednesday morning. Let us tell you that the retail rate issued by government oil companies is showing a slowdown from UP to Bihar and Haryana. However, there has been no change in the price of petrol and diesel in the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai. At the same time, according to the government oil companies, petrol in Gautam Budh Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida) has been cheaper by 36 paise to Rs 96.64 per liter and diesel has been reduced by 32 paise to Rs 89.82 per liter.

In Chennai and Kolkata, petrol prices are Rs 79.33 per liter and Rs 79.02 per liter. In Patna, petrol is retailing at Rs 107.24 per liter and diesel costs Rs 94.04 per liter. In Gurugram today, petrol is being sold at Rs 77.62 and diesel at Rs 68.35 per liter. At the same time, if we talk about crude oil, then in the last 24 hours, its prices are showing a decline of about $3 and Brent crude price has come down below $ 80. Brent crude fell more than $2 this morning to $79.35 a barrel. WTI's rate is also down by about $3 to $74.66 a barrel today.

Today, petrol in Kolkata is being sold at Rs 77.62 and diesel at Rs 68.35 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is retailing at Rs 107.83, while diesel costs Rs 96.84. Petrol and diesel prices: Petrol price in Delhi stands at Rs 101.84 per liter while diesel is available for Rs 89.07. Let us tell you that the prices of petrol and diesel change every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT, and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price is almost double the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
