OnePlus is hinting at the launch of their new smartwatch, possibly called the OnePlus Watch 2, expected to hit the shelves on February 26. This announcement follows closely after the recent release of their OnePlus 12 series smartphones in India last month.
The teaser for the upcoming smartwatch was shared on OnePlus' official social media account. Although the company hasn't officially confirmed the name, signs point to it being the OnePlus Watch 2, as hinted by the circular display and two buttons on the side in the teaser image.
According to reliable tipster Max Jambor, the OnePlus Watch 2 is set to debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on February 26.
Adding to the excitement, OnePlus has launched a community contest where participants are asked to guess the mysterious product with a humorous twist. The contest, open to users from India, North America, and Europe, is scheduled to end on January 26, hinting at a possible February 26 launch date.
Reports speculate that the OnePlus Watch 2 will feature a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and a larger 402 mAh battery, powered by WearOS. Additionally, the smartwatch is anticipated to boast IP68 water and dust resistance for added durability.
