The Odisha Tourism Department has announced the much-awaited Konark Festival and the International Sand Art Festival, both set to take place from December 1 to 5, 2024. What is the Konark Festival?
The 35th edition of the Konark Festival will be a spectacular five-day celebration dedicated to classical dance forms. Held annually at the iconic Sun Temple in Konark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the festival draws tourists and art lovers alike. The open-air stage, bathed in soft golden lights and set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the 13th-century temple, provides a stunning venue for the performances.
