80 thousand towers will be installed soon

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia recently said that BSNL will install about 80 thousand towers by October 2024. After this, the remaining 21 thousand towers will also be installed by March 2025. This means that by March 2025, about 1 lakh towers of BSNL will be installed across the country. Along with this, BSNL is also working on 5G service. The minister said that 5G service can be availed on 4G towers only, for this, some technical changes are being made.

Order BSNL SIM card at home

BSNL is expanding its network rapidly. After the expensive recharge plans of Airtel, Jio, and Vi, there are long queues for BSNL SIM cards. But now you can order a BSNL SIM card from home. For this, you have to apply online.

Steps to order SIM card online

1. Visit Prune website: First of all you have to visit the website named Prune at prun.co.in.

2. Buy SIM Card: Click on the 'Buy SIM Card' option here and select country India.

3. Select Operator: Select BSNL for the operator and then select your plan.

4. Enter mobile number: Enter your mobile number on which an OTP (one-time password) will be sent. Enter this OTP and provide other required details.

5. Enter Address: Enter the address where SIM will be delivered.

6. Make payment: Complete the payment by filling in the payment details. Once the order is confirmed, your BSNL SIM card will be delivered within the next 90 minutes.

7. KYC Process: After delivery, your KYC (Know Your Customer) will be done at home and the SIM will be activated.

Current availability

At present, BSNL has started this facility in the Gurugram district of Haryana and the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. After some time, this service may be available in other cities as well. Thus, now BSNL SIM cards can be ordered easily and quickly from home so that customers will not have to stand in long queues.
