Bikaner, August 2024: On Sunday, 28th July, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the newly built Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Moolwas village of Nokha block of Bikaner, Rajasthan. This revolutionary move came as a means of strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of Rajasthan. Moreover, this PHC was handed over to the Rajasthan Government by Mr. Narsi Kularia, Managing Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, and Mr. Jagdish Kularia, Director of Narsi Interior Infrastructures Pvt Ltd.
Besides being a successful and well-established industrialist, Mr. Narsi Kularia is revered for his efforts towards the welfare and upliftment of society. It was in 2020 when he launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, aiming to enhance the healthcare system in Seelwa. Moreover, this CSR project led to the laying of the founding bricks of the Sant Shri Dularam Kularia Primary Healthcare Center (PHC). Mr. Narsi Kularia’s contributions have brought tremendous changes to the lives of Nokha residents. The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries including the Chief Minister of Rajasthan-Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Law Minister-Arjun Meghwal, Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, State Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar, and Food Supply Minister-Sumit Godara. The eminent figures applauded the initiative, and Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia’s contributions towards the empowerment of the community.
In his address, the Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat expressed his appreciation for Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia, in his native language of Marwari. He shed light on the unending efforts of Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia, and said “Thank Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia for investing their money in the right place and repaying the debt of the motherland. In addition to the healthcare center, Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia have also designed the interior of the New Parliament Building and Bharat Mandapam. Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia invest their earnings in social welfare without any hesitation.”
Furthermore, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan praised the efforts of Mr. Narsi Kularia by declaring, “Service is considered the ultimate religion here. We imbibe the principle of ' Nar Seva Hi Narayan Seva'. We work with the feeling that if you serve a man, it will be equal to serving the Hindu god Narayan. The government will also give full support in such pious works.” In addition, the Chief Minister also pledged to upgrade this Primary Healthcare Center into a community Healthcare Center, further highlighting the government’s aim to enhance the principles laid by Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia. As a tribute to the late father of Mr. Narsi Kularia and grandfather of Mr. Jagdish Kularia, Sant Shri Dularam Kularia, the PHC is set to uplift the lives of thousands of villagers. Mr. Narsi Kularia, at the inauguration ceremony, proudly shared the impact of this healthcare center and how it will enhance the healthcare system of more than a dozen villages including Charkra, Seelwa, Dawa, Tant, Kedli, and Badhda.
In addition, the late Sant Shri Dularam Kularia was known for his compassion and community service, and thus, the PHC is an honorable way of remembering his legacy and continuous efforts toward community welfare. Built at the astounding cost of 15 crores, the healthcare center covers 12100 square yards. Moreover, its high-tech medical facilities, an operation theatre, an X-ray machine, CBC facilities, a 24-hour pharmacy, and an OPD for first aid, further highlight its heightened infrastructure. The PHC offers 8 beds for men and 14 beds for women. Lastly, the 50,000-liter rainwater harvesting tank promotes sustainability and a reliable water supply source. Through these aspects, Mr. Narsi Kularia and Mr. Jagdish Kularia have not compromised on the wellness of the community or the environment. The PHC significantly benefits society in terms of healthcare and the environment, is compliant with the community ecosystem, and is set to provide multiple healthcare facilities without increasing their carbon footprint.
