Mumbai Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman after she made a threatening phone call claiming a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The call, received on Thursday by the city's traffic control room, triggered immediate action.

According to police sources, the caller identified herself as a woman and told officers about a plan to kill PM Modi. The police quickly registered a case at the Amboli police station and began their investigation. Authorities have not disclosed the caller's exact identity but are actively working to locate her.

Early reports suggest that the woman may be suffering from mental health issues, though the police are proceeding with the investigation as per standard protocols. The police are diligently following all necessary procedures to track down the suspect.

This isn't the first time such a threat has been made. In July of last year, the Mumbai Police control room also received a similar warning, where an anonymous caller threatened to kill both Prime Minister Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The caller had even mentioned executing a "26/11-like attack" in the country, further alarming the authorities.
