Dhar: Former MP Surajbhanu Singh has passed away from the Mhow-Dhar Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh. He breathed his last during treatment at a Delhi hospital. He is said to have died due to a heart attack. Surajbhaan Singh, a two-time MP from the Mhow-Dhar region, was known as the tribal leader in the area.
Surajbhanu Singh Solanki, who lost his heart attack at the age of 60, was a two-time MP from the Dhar-Mhow Lok Sabha constituency. From 1989 to 1996, he won the election on the Congress ticket both times. In 1996, he was defeated by the BJP's Chattarsinh Darbar in Mhow-Dhar seat. After losing the election, Congress did not give him a ticket to the seat again. On April 4, 1960, Surbhanu Singh, who was born in Odulwani, Madhya Pradesh, was also a pilot. After winning the Lok Sabha elections for the first time in 1989, the people of the region elected him as their representative in 1991.
The former MP, who lives in Manwa of Gandhwani development block, last contested from Harsud assembly constituency in 2013, but he lost the election. On the part of the office of Congress leader Kamal Nath, tweeting his demise, it is written that the news of the 'sad demise of former MP Surajbhanu Solanki was received. My condolences to the family. May God grant them the power to bear this sorrow for the family and back in their shrine.'
