Tehran: Recently, the Israeli army killed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah, and after this incident, mixed reactions were seen around the world. A large number of Iranian citizens gathered outside the Israeli Embassy in London and celebrated the end of Nasrallah. These are the same Iranian people, whose country is against Israel at the government level, but the public support is with Israel in the fight against terrorism. On social media too, Iranians thanked Israel wholeheartedly and saw it as a big victory against terrorism. With this, #IraniansStandWithIsrael started trending fiercely on social media.

An Iranian citizen said in his post, "I cannot stop my happiness seeing how Israel is wiping out Hezbollah. These are the same terrorists who killed and blinded our women and children in Iran. Today the Iranian people know that the Jewish people are their closest allies." This statement underlines that the Iranian public not only considers Nasrallah a terrorist, but also sees his elimination as a victory.
An Iranian: “I can't contain my joy seeing how Israel is annihilating Hezbollah. These are the same terrorists who killed and blinded our women and children in Iran. Today the Iranian people know that the Jewish people are their closest allies.”

Iranians are trending #IraniansStandWithIsrael on social media, with many openly thanking Israeli security forces, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the IDF (Israel Defense Force). They said that eliminating Hezbollah and terrorist organizations like it is necessary not only for the Middle East but for the entire world. Even voices of support have started coming from some parts of Saudi Arabia, which has been an opponent of Israel for years. Some Saudi users are also posting slogans on social media regarding Israel, "Am Israel Chai", that is, "Long live the people of Israel". This reflects the changing global politics and the spirit of solidarity against terrorist organizations.

On the other hand, a completely different and worrying reaction came from some parts of India. There was mourning in some areas of Kashmir on the death of Hezbollah's terrorist leader Nasrallah. It is disturbing to see that while people of Islamic countries like Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia consider Nasrallah a terrorist and are celebrating his death, some Muslims in India are showing sympathy for him only in the name of religion.
Hezbollah will be defeated. The Islamic regime in Iran will also be defeated.

The Iranian people, and all those in the region who seek peace, will emerge victorious. https://t.co/AjgYNLcWYD…#KingRezaPahlavi #Iran#IraniansStandWithIsrael @PahlaviReza @netanyahu https://t.co/amlKUY8y7H pic.twitter.com/qCp5ot7Sbm
It is a matter of thought that how can Indian Muslims, who generally live in areas like Kashmir which are plagued by terrorism, come out in support of terrorists like Nasrallah? This is the same Hezbollah, which has taken the lives of innocent people not only in Israel but also in other parts of the Middle East. Mourning the death of Nasrallah indicates that some sections are still supporting terrorists in the name of religion, no matter how much harm they cause to their own society or country.
Hezbollah, led by Nasrallah, has long been synonymous with terrorism in the Middle East. Hezbollah's activities extend from Syria to Iran, and it has victimized innocent civilians. Many Muslims in Syria and Iran have now recognized the true face of this terrorist organization and are fed up with its brutality. This is why Nasrallah's death is being welcomed in these countries.

The Indian Muslim community should think deeply about the kind of personalities and organizations they are supporting. Terrorists like Nasrallah are not only a threat to regional peace, but they are also enemies of humanity. Supporting terrorism in the name of religion is dangerous for one's own society. Today Iranian and Syrian people, who have been victims of Nasrallah's brutality, are thanking Israel and celebrating. This should also be a lesson for those who consider terrorists as heroes.
Nasrallah's death has started a new debate in the Middle East and around the world. While the Iranian and Syrian public has supported Israel against terrorism, sympathy for terrorists like Nasrallah in some parts of India is a matter of concern. It is time for the Indian Muslim community to introspect on how harmful supporting terrorists in the name of religion can be for their country and society. The fight against terrorism is not a fight of any one country or religion, but of the entire humanity, and everyone should stand united in it.
