Nine members of the same family were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the Shejaia neighborhood of Gaza City. The victims, from the Farhat family, were taken to a hospital in Gaza City after the attack.

In a separate incident, three people, including a child, were killed in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza during another Israeli attack, with several others injured.

Israel has ramped up its military offensive in northern Gaza, ordering mass evacuations. Reports indicate that the situation in Jabalia refugee camp is dire, with bodies lying in the streets, and rescue workers unable to reach the area due to continuous bombardments.

Palestinian authorities warned of a worsening humanitarian crisis, claiming Israeli forces have blocked essential supplies such as water, food, and medicine from entering northern Gaza. This has led to widespread devastation, with dozens killed and hundreds wounded.

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) described northern Gaza as a "wasteland" after a week of ongoing attacks, and no humanitarian aid has reached the region. In response to the escalating violence, Israel has ordered the evacuation of three key hospitals in Gaza: the Indonesian, Kamal Adwan, and al-Awda hospitals.

A journalist in northern Gaza reported that the head of Kamal Adwan Hospital had been given just 24 hours to evacuate the facility, which houses hundreds of injured patients who cannot be safely moved. He described the order as a "death sentence" for the patients.

There were also reports of Israeli forces targeting essential infrastructure, including the only bakery in northern Gaza and a major flour warehouse, though these reports remain unverified due to restricted access to the area.

Rising Death Toll in Lebanon
Meanwhile, in Lebanon, the health ministry reported that 36 people were killed and 150 injured in Israeli strikes within 24 hours. This brings the total death toll in Lebanon since October 2023 to 2,119, most occurring in the past two weeks.

Beirut's southern suburbs have been heavily bombarded, with massive destruction reported, including the collapse of four residential buildings. Ongoing strikes have caused significant damage to multiple areas in south Beirut, including the Al-Kafaat district.

Lebanon's transport minister said Israel has provided assurances that it would not target the country’s international airport, but concerns remain as there are no firm guarantees.

Despite Israeli claims that Hezbollah is using the Beirut airport for smuggling weapons, Lebanese officials have denied these accusations, stating that the airport follows strict regulations and is under the scrutiny of various government bodies.
