In this modern world, especially the one which is dealing with the aftershocks of a pandemic, mental health issues are not rare. A study revealed that in 2017, 14% of Indians suffered from mental health disorders, including 45.7 million people suffering from depression and 49 million people suffering from anxiety disorders. This number has just increased during the pandemic with people being forced to stay in their homes with almost negligent human contact. According to the 2019 World Happiness Report, negative feelings are rising in the world. One trend that was apparent in this report was that negative feelings like anger, sadness, and worry—have been rising around the world, up by 27 per cent from 2010 to 2018. During such times, it has become extremely important for humans to get in touch with their emotions and figure out the source of those emotions. People are finally grasping the fact that mental health is important and that they need to look for tools that have a positive impact on their life. These tools can be books, music, movies, podcasts, people etc. one such person whose life’s aim is to make a positive impact on society and his fellow humans is author Manny Anchan.
