Ujjain: Mahakal Lok located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh is the center of faith of crores of devotees from the country and the world. After several statues were damaged due to thunderstorm and rain on Sunday in Mahakal Lok, built at a cost of Rs 750 crore six months ago, the Shivraj government is now badly surrounded by corruption charges. In the storm and rain on Sunday, trees were uprooted at many 60 places in Ujjain, and some houses were also reported to have collapsed, as well as 2 people died. However, most of the politics is happening around Mahakal Lok and the state government is on the back foot. ┬а

Let us tell you that, the Mahakal Lok, prepared at a cost of crores, was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi himself on October 11, 2022 in a grand program. Along with the construction of Mahakal Lok, there were also allegations of corruption in it. Questions were also raised about the religious significance along with the quality of the statues made of red stone and rainforce plastic. Questions were raised that plastic idols are not installed at Hindu religious places. Therefore, only metal statues or stone statues should have been installed in Mahakal Lok. Even after this, statues made of rainforce plastic were installed in Mahakal Lok and now the storm, which has run at a speed of just 30 km, has surrounded the state government with corruption charges. ┬а

Sajjan Singh Verma, Ramlal Malviya, Dilip Gurjar, Shobha Oza, Mahesh Parmar, Murli Morwal and KK Mishra have been made members of this committee. The committee will reach Mahakal Lok and prepare a detailed report and put it before the public.

State Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that it is an old habit of the Congress party to do politics in disaster, trees have also fallen in the storm, electric poles have also been uprooted and people's houses have also collapsed, this is a natural disaster. ┬а The Congress party never comes forward to help in a disaster. He said that the loss caused in the natural disaster at Mahakal Lok in Ujjain will be compensated by the concerned agency. Narottam Mishra said that Mahakal is on public guarantee period and the contractor concerned will compensate for the loss that has been done. ┬а
