Bhopal: Former Union minister and veteran Congress leader Salman Khurshid has been reprimanded from place to place after comparing Hindutva with terror outfits like ISIS and Boko Haram in his book. His own party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has termed him as factually wrong. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that his book will be banned in the state. BJP leader Ram Kadam has lodged a police complaint against Khurshid for hurting the sentiments of crores of Hindus.

In the book Sunrise over Ayodhya: Nationhood in Our Times, Congress leader Salman Khurshid has written an objectionable word on Hindutva. On this, Ghulam Nabi Azad has said, "Even though we disagree with Hindutva as a political ideology separate from the mixed culture of Hinduism, comparing Hindutva to ISIS and Jihadi Islam is factually wrong and exaggerated.'' Talking to the media, Narottam Mishra said, "This is a highly condemnable book. In fact, these people leave no stone unturned to divide Hindus, divide them into castes, to break their country India. This is the same idea that Salman Khurshid is pursuing.''

Mishra further said, "Not a great India, but an infamous India, what Kamal Nath said is also the result of the same idea. No way can the country be divided into castes. To divide Hindutva no opportunity is ever left to attack our faith.'' About this Hindutva, he has even said to the Supreme Court that Hindutva is a way of life, which he has also questioned. Now Sonia Gandhi should clarify who she is with. I will take opinions from experts and ban this book in Madhya Pradesh.
