Bhopal: Sand mafia goons on the banks of Chambal river in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, fired several rounds on the team of police and forest workers on Tuesday morning. About 100 police and forest personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information about carrying illegal sand through more than a dozen dumper and tractor trolleys. Seeing themselves surrounded, the sand mafia goons started firing.
