Bhopal: There is no relief to the common man in the prices of petrol and diesel in Madhya Pradesh. Home Minister Narottam Mishra was holding press talks about the decisions taken in the cabinet. During this time, all these disturbances have arisen due to one of his statements. He told the media that a decision has been taken to remove the cess imposed on the petrol-diesel cess. After this statement by Minister Mishra, there was a message in the media that the cess on petrol and diesel has been removed, but in reality, there is nothing like this.
Officials of the Commercial Tax Department say that there was a discrepancy in the calculation of cess. To overcome this, a bill was sent to the cabinet for a change in the Act, which was approved. Officials say that it will not make even a penny difference in the price of petrol and diesel. This was an issue of inconsistency of interdepartmental calculations, which is being rectified. The general public will get petrol 4 and diesel 1.5 rupees cheaper. Petrol is 91.46 and diesel is 81.64 per litre in the capital on Tuesday.
The cabinet of the Shivraj government overturned another decision of the previous Kamal Nath government. Now the process of re-election in canal committees will start. Before the start of the cabinet meeting, CM Shivraj and all the ministers in his cabinet paid tribute to the late Motilal Vora.
