Dharampuri: A temporary bridge between two streams of the Narmada (located in the island) to the five-thousand-year-old Shiva temple has been broken due to release of water from the dam. Due to which devotees are unable to visit the temple on Mahashivratri. Every year more than one lakh devotees visit this ancient temple to visit Baba Bholenath. Now the anger of the people has erupted on the Tehsildar due to the bridge breaking.
People have alleged that if the NVDA and the Tehsildar were not arbitrary in the construction of the temporary bridge, then this situation would not have happened. Things have become so bad there that even Collector-SP has reached the spot and is trying to convince people. Between two streams of Narmada, an island three kilometers long and 600 meters wide is located, which is called Reva Garbha Sthan.
The Reva Garbha place, that is, from Amarkantak, the place of origin of Narmada, till the time it meets the Gulf of Khambhat, is considered to be the place of a woman's cut / womb, which is also mentioned in the Puranas. On the island, a grand temple of Sri Bilvamritshwar Mahadev is located on thirty thousand square feet. A large number of devotees reach here on other festivals including Mahashivratri.
