Morena: Two youths have died after a high-speed car fell in a canal in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh and a young man jumped into a car and saved his life. According to police sources, Akash Sikarwar, a resident of Gopalpura in the district, was returning to Morena by car after attending a religious function from village Bahrare ka Puri (Jora) late evening with his friends Kaushalendra Bhadoria and Hariom Rathore.

Meanwhile, suddenly the car fell uncontrollably into the Ambah branch canal near village Sikeroda. The flow of water in the canal was fast, causing the car to overturn. Akash and Kaushalendra died due to the accident due to drowning in the water, while another friend Hariom Rathore jumped down the door of the car before it fell into the canal, which also injured him. Seeing the car falling into the canal, the villagers, with the help of towing, put the car on the side of the canal and opened the door of the car and drove the trapped people out to the hospital, where they were declared dead.

The injured Hariom Rathore was discharged from the hospital after first aid. Both the deceased were youths doing property business. After the post-mortem of the dead, the police have handed over the dead bodies to their relatives today. Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
