Bhopal: The winter session of the Assembly in Madhya Pradesh is going to begin from December 28. The Assembly has made full preparations for the same. This will be the first time in the Assembly session that all MLAs can join through their mobile and participate in the session. In the all-party meeting after Christmas, it will be clear as to how the scheme will work.

In view of corona in the state, the Assembly Secretariat has started preparations for the option of participating in both the house of MLAs attending the session (video conferencing and physically present). As the MLAs last sat in the district headquarters and participated in the session of the House, this time they will be allowed to participate in the proceedings of the House from home by giving access to their mobile.

The corona of all officers and staff including physically present MLAs in the assembly will be examined in the hospital located in the assembly. The Secretariat has sought a report from all the district magistrates on the corona epidemic of MLAs. In the winter session, a number of important bills will be introduced besides swearing in 28 new MLAs, electing the Speaker and Vice-President. 11 ministers including CM in the state and 32 MLA have been infected with corona.
