Bhopal: Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath survived narrowly on Sunday. In fact, on Sunday, Kamal Nath went to a private hospital in Indore. He visited hospital to take charge of former minister Rameshwar Patel. While Kamal Nath was in the lift in the hospital, the elevator suddenly fell. The accident occurred due to an overload of the lift. During this time, the capacity of the lift was only 15 people, but when the lift fell, it had 20 people. Also, no one has received reports of injury in this terrible accident. Many former ministers were also present in the lift during the accident.

It is being said that the health of former CM Kamal Nath suddenly deteriorated as soon as the lift fell. He started getting nervous. After that, his blood pressure was checked at the same hospital. After resting there for some time, Kamal Nath got well. On Sunday, Congress leaders from across the state were engaged in the ongoing Congress divisional conference in Indore. Meanwhile, news of former minister Rameshwar Patel being admitted to the hospital in Indore was received.

Several leaders including former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, former minister Sajjan Singh Verma and Jeetu Patwari reached the DNS hospital at 4 pm. As soon as all the leaders had boarded the elevator to go to the second floor of the hospital, the elevator went down to a height. On receiving information about this incident, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered Collector Manish Singh to investigate the matter. Now the Collector has ordered ADM headquarters Himanshu Chandra to conduct a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
