Bhopal: After tomato, onion, dal prices are also skyrocketing. There has also been a big jump in the retail price of pulses which is enough to pervert the taste of our kitchen. In a few days, the price of Tur Dal has gone up from Rs 80 to Rs 120 per kilo. Dal was the only option left after the steep rise in vegetable prices, and now the prices are skyrocketing.

Prices of Pulses:-
Tur Dal prices increased from Rs 80 to Rs 120 per kg
Masoor dal prices go up from Rs 60 to Rs 70 per kg
Moong dal prices increased from Rs 80 to Rs 90 per kg
Moong Mogar Dal prices increased from Rs 90 to Rs 100 per kg

The prices of pulses are rising due to unavailability. Another reason is that there is a possibility of a further increase in pulses stocks. The rainfall in Maharashtra and MP has led to the low production of pulses. Transportation tenders in Maharashtra godowns have not yet been completed, only after tendering, tur dal will be able to reach the markets and mills. In Madhya Pradesh, Dal comes from Maharashtra and Gujarat.
