The 1943 film 'Ram Rajya' made Prem Adib famous in every household. Mahatma Gandhi himself came to see this film, which was a big deal at that time. Shobhana Samarth played the role of Maa Sita with him in this film. This pair made such an impact on the screen as Lord Ram and Sita that people really started worshipping them.
Prem Adib made many changes in his life to play the role of Lord Ram. He gave up smoking and eating non-vegetarian food so that he could play his character properly. Prem Adib married Krishna Kumari Kaul. The last phase of his life was also associated with films. The 1960 film 'Angulimaal' was his last film, which was released a year after his death.
