Thiruvananthapuram: The University of Calicut (UC) and Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) have deferred the exams scheduled on 27 September as a general strike (hartal) has been called on that day. The departmental exams of the Kerala Public Service Commission too have been postponed Following this, Mahatma Gandhi University is yet to take a decision in this regard, hopefully on Friday or Saturday.
Semester 5 and 6 exams (2015 Revision) of the 3-year engineering diploma course have also been rescheduled to 7 October and the exams of the food craft courses would be held on 30 September.
