'India's Best Dancer 4' judges Karisma Kapoor, Geeta Kapoor and Terence Lewis recently appeared on Zakir Khan's show 'Aapka Apna Zakir'. Everyone had a lot of fun in this show and also shared many secrets related to their personal life. During a segment of the show, Zakir Khan asked Karisma whether women in the Kapoor family were prevented from working? Were you allowed to make a career in acting?
Karisma Kapoor revealed
Responding to Zakir's questions, Karishma said, "These are all just talks about whether I had permission or not. When my mother and Neetu aunty got married, they decided to settle down on their own. Their careers were going well, but they gave priority to the family. This was their choice."
Karishma further said, "At the same time, Shammi Uncle and Shashi Uncle's wives, Geeta ji and Jennifer Aunty, continued working even after marriage. So it would be wrong to say that in the Kapoor family one cannot work after marriage or that Kapoor girls cannot work. There was nothing like that."
Karishma clarified her point further by saying that she was interested in acting, so she came into this field. Similarly, Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor also came into acting. But Riddhima was not interested in it, so she chose a different career. No one ever had any restrictions regarding their career.
