On the second day, Saturday, there was a slight increase in the collection and the film earned Rs 1.95 crore. Now the initial collections of the third day i.e. Sunday are out. According to the report of SaccNilc, 'The Buckingham Murders' collected Rs 2.20 crore on its first Sunday. The total collection of the film in three days has now become Rs 5.30 crore.
Could not reach the figure of 10 crores in three days: It has been three days since its release, but 'The Buckingham Murders' has not been able to earn even 10 crores till now. It is now looking difficult for this film, made on a budget of 40 crores, to even recover half of its cost. Although, there has been a slight increase in the earnings of the film during the weekend, the real challenge will be on Monday. Story and Production of the film: ' The Buckingham Murders' is directed by Hansal Mehta and this is Kareena Kapoor Khan's first film which she has also made as a producer. She has co-produced this film with Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Picture. In the film, Kareena Kapoor plays the role of British Indian detective Jasmeet Bhamra, whose child dies. After this, she gets a case to investigate the murder of a 10-year-old child, which brings new twists in her life.
