VIJAYAWADA: YSRC president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will deliver a two-year plan for the party in the run-up to the 2024 elections. with this end in view, he has held a broad-based party meeting for Wednesday, amid speculations that the CM may contemplate holding elections six months early.
In the next few days, the CM is expected to announce his decision on whether or not his government will complete the full term and issue appropriate instructions to party leaders.
Ministers, newly appointed district party presidents, regional coordinators, and presidents of the party's connected organisations will attend the meeting on Wednesday. After Jagan Mohan Reddy took over as CM, this is the greatest meeting of party leaders at this level.
The YSRC is currently operating without the assistance of Prashant Kishore's Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), which it had retained for the 2019 election. To see the party through, the party has decided to rely on the government's efforts.
With this in mind, Jagan Mohan Reddy has chosen to create a blueprint for legislators and party leaders to follow in the footsteps of poll strategists. The CM is analysing information from a variety of sources, including his own resources and intelligence.
