In a now-deleted Instagram post, Julia shared a moment with Priyanka and Nick Jonas, describing Priyanka as "possibly the nicest celebrity" she's met and praising her glowing aura. However, the video sparked backlash as viewers accused Julia of interrupting Priyanka.
"I think I dissed Priyanka Chopra at Anant Ambani’s wedding and I can not stop thinking about it?" Julia wrote in an apology post. "She was trying to tell me more and I cut her off. It wasn't meant to be a diss."

Julia expressed her admiration for Priyanka, admitting her excitement led her to change the subject abruptly when Priyanka mentioned knowing her. "As a super fan of Priyanka Chopra, when she told me she knows me, it was just too much for me to handle," Julia explained.
She continued, "Priyanka, if you are seeing this, I never meant to be rude to you. I love you dearly and I'm sorry."
Amidst the controversy, Julia has been sharing exclusive insights from the wedding, particularly focusing on guests' exquisite jewelry. She also highlighted meeting Nita Ambani, whom she described as "the epitome of elegance."
