As tensions escalate between Israel and Hezbollah, the Indian Embassy in Lebanon has issued a warning for Indian nationals traveling to the war-torn country. The advisory comes amid growing concerns of a potential full-scale war.

On Friday, both India and Jordan joined the list of countries cautioning their citizens against travel to Lebanon. This decision follows increased hostilities and the possibility of the conflict expanding further. The Indian Embassy in Beirut has advised all Indian nationals to "exercise caution" and stay in touch with the embassy. While not an outright travel ban, the warning underscores the seriousness of the current situation.

Several other nations have also updated their travel advisories. The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs has urged its citizens to avoid Lebanon and to leave the country if they are already there, citing escalating clashes along the southern border.

Similarly, Germany's Foreign Office has recommended that German nationals "urgently" depart Lebanon. The advisory, updated after a visit by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, highlights the increased risk of attacks on foreigners and tourist spots.

The Netherlands has issued a "red" travel warning, strongly advising against travel to Lebanon. The Dutch Foreign Ministry described the situation as "unsafe" and "unpredictable," urging citizens to avoid travel under any circumstances.

Canada has also called for its citizens to leave Lebanon "while they can," citing the unpredictable and volatile security situation. The Canadian government is not currently offering evacuation assistance but has indicated that a significant evacuation effort may be prepared if the situation worsens.

Australia has joined Canada in advising its citizens to refrain from traveling to Lebanon and to depart using available flights before the situation deteriorates further.

With several nations urging their citizens to leave or avoid Lebanon, the situation remains fluid and potentially dangerous. Travelers are advised to stay informed about the latest developments and follow the guidance of their respective embassies.

Stay safe and exercise extreme caution if you find yourself in or planning to travel to Lebanon during this volatile period.
