Sanjeev was determined to take revenge for the beating of his wife Nanhi Devi. After a quarrel with his wife, he planned to teach the neighbors a lesson. On Monday, Sanjeev told his wife that he had fever. After this, he headed towards Chinour on a scooty on the pretext of getting medicine for his son Gaurav and himself. At around seven in the evening, after reaching Tiulak bridge, he pushed his son Gaurav into the river, due to which the child died by drowning.

Police action

Sanjeev returned home and started alleging that his neighbour and four other people had kidnapped his son on the way. Hearing this, the police started questioning Sanjeev. The police became suspicious of Sanjeev's statements because he was repeatedly accusing the neighbours of murder.

Body recovered with the help of NDRF

The police registered a case on Sanjeev's complaint and called the NDRF at night. The team searched for the body in the river with the help of a steamer. In the morning, the body was found stuck in the bushes.

Suspicion of not informing the police

Sanjeev did not inform the police even after pushing his son into the river, which further deepened the police's suspicion against him. The family members were also not aware of his conspiracy.

A case of assault has also been registered

On the complaint of Sanjeev, the police have registered a case under sections of assault and kidnapping. Now the matter will be investigated separately. Sanjeev's wife had also filed a case against the accused on September 1.
