If you have not yet updated any information on your Aadhaar card such as name, date of birth, or other details, then you have time till September 14. After this date, the free facility of Aadhaar update will end and you will have to pay a fee for it. UIDAI has announced that the free service for the Aadhaar update is available only for a short time. After this, a fee of about Rs 50 will be applicable for the update. The free service is only for online updates. A fee is already being charged for getting the update done by visiting the offline Aadhaar center.
How to Update Aadhaar Card
Login: Login with your Aadhaar number and OTP received on the registered number.
Review information: Review your identity and address details. Select the correct document option from the drop-down menu to update the information.
File size and format: Make sure the file you are uploading is less than 2MB in size and is in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format.
