Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, and Jacqueline Fernandes, along with other cast members of the upcoming movie Housefull 5, are gearing up for a 45-day shoot on a cruise. The filming will begin in London, with stops in France and Spain, before heading back to the UK.
The film also features Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri, Jackie Shroff, Sonam Bajwa, Chitrangada Singh, Soundarya Sharma, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, Fardeen Khan, Johny Lever, Akashdeep, Nikitin Dheer, Shreyas Talpade, and Ranjeet, among others.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is slated for release on June 6, 2025. Before joining the cast, actress Chitrangada Singh praised Akshay Kumar, with whom she has worked in films like Desi Boyz and Khel Khel Mein. She expressed her excitement to reunite with him for Housefull 5, calling him a "true master of comedy."
The Housefull series began in 2010 with Akshay, Riteish, Arjun Rampal, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, and Jiah Khan in the lead roles. The second installment, released two years later, introduced a larger cast, including Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Asin, John Abraham, and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The third and fourth parts were directed by Farhad Samji, while the fifth installment is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani, with stars like Fardeen Khan, Pooja Hegde, and Riteish Deshmukh returning to the ensemble cast.
