Jaipur: Rajasthan Congress unit chief Govind Singh Dotasra on Wednesday attacked PM Narendra Modi, saying that the reality of those who got power by making tall promises to the people has come out in front of the people. Addressing a public meeting in Shahjahanpur on the sidelines of the departure of the 'Azadi Ki Gaurav Yatra' being taken out by the All India Congress Seva Dal from the border of Rajasthan, Dotasra said those seeking an account of 70 years are not giving the account of eight years of their tenure to the people.

Dotasra further said that due to the wrong economic policies of the Central Government, inflation and unemployment is increasing in the country, and the prices of petrol, diesel, and cooking gas are skyrocketing. He said that all essential commodities including textiles, pulses, and edible oils have gone out of reach of the common man and the unemployment rate is the highest in 70 years. Dotasra said that just as there is an atmosphere of fear in the country, all Congressmen will have to come together and take a resolve among the people and talk about 'Add India' on the appeal of Rahul Gandhi.

Dotasra alleged that the BJP is fighting brother to brother to make its sit-in shine while the Congress party is engaged in uniting the society with the slogan of 'Bharat Jodo'. He said that for the development of the country, it is necessary to remove the NDA government from the Centre in 2024 and form the UPA government again.
