Dehradun: Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family members of late Ankita Bhandari. Instructions have been given to the officers regarding this. CM Dhami said that the state government is with Ankita's family and will help them in every way. He said that SIT investigation is being done into the matter. The investigation will be completed as soon as possible in a fair manner. Collecting all the facts related to the case and preparing the report in a solid manner will be ensured that the accused get the strictest punishment. Such punishment will be given to the accused which will become an example for the future also. In order to ensure speedy justice to the victim's family, a request has been made to the honourable court for a hearing in the fast-track court. Let us tell you, Ankita's family members had placed some of their demands in front of CM Pushkar Dhami on Tuesday.
Know what Ankita's family wants:-
- Financial assistance of Rs 1 crore should be given to the family.
- The road from village Malli to Bermundi should be named after Ankita.
- A memorial should be built in public places in the name of Ankita.
- One person from the family should be given a job.
- Adarsh ​​school should be opened in the name of the resort where Ankita used to work.
- There should be an award in the name of Ankita in the campaign 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao'.
- Pulkit Arya's brother and father should be kept in custody till the completion of the investigation.
- The culprits of the daughter should be hanged at the earliest.
Know the whole matter:-
Ankita, who worked in Vanantara Resort, was missing from the night of 18-19 September. The owner of the resort Pulkit Arya, manager Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit all three together took Ankita with them. Together they pushed Ankita into the Shakti canal near the power house. After coming back, a false story was created about Ankita's disappearance.
