New Delhi: Government employees are waiting for their DA arrears for a long time. Employees have 18 months DA left. Now the news is that the government has made up its mind to pay DA to the employees. The employees are engaged in demanding payment of DA withheld from January 2020 to June 2021. Some reports have come to know that the government is thinking of paying Rs 2 lakh of DA together. However, no official statement has come on this yet. DA arrears depend on the level of the employees.
Addition is going on regarding the remaining DA of government employees. The government is busy working on finalizing the amount of DA. It is being told that the DA arrears of Level 1 employees range from Rs 11880 to Rs 37000. At the same time, the government is going to pay Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 to the level 13 employees as DA arrears. The government had stopped the DA of the employees due to the epidemic of Covid. The increase in DA of employees is done on the basis of AICPI data. There has been a steady increase in the AICPI figures in 2022. Due to this, the government will be able to increase the DA of the employees by 4-5 percent. At present, 34 percent DA is available and if there is an increase of even 4 percent, then it will become 38 percent.
Earlier, the government had increased the DA of employees in March itself, then 3% DA is being increased. This financial assistance is being part of the salary structure. Efforts are made by the government that even after rising inflation, there should be no impact on the standard of living of the employees.
