New Delhi: The list of the world's top 10 billionaires saw a major change on Thursday (January 12). When Amazon co-founder Jeff Bezos surpassed Indian industrialist Gautam Adani, he became the third richest person in the world. However, he could not maintain this position even for 24 hours and Gautam Adani has taken a long jump and occupied third place again.

According to Thursday's Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Gautam Adani's net worth fell to $118 billion due to the fall in his shares, during which time Amazon's Jeff Bezos's wealth increased by a tremendous $5.23 billion and the list of top billionaires changed. With a difference in numbers after just decimals, Bezos surpassed Adani to become the third richest person in the world. 

Within the last 24 hours, Indian industrialist Gautam Adani's wealth increased and with this, his total net worth increased to $119 billion. With this figure, the Chairman of the Adani Group has once again come back to number three on the list of rich, while Bezos again slipped to fourth place with a net worth of $ 118 billion.
