Let us tell you that today there is no change in the retail rate in most of the cities. In fact, the oil companies have kept the prices of petrol and diesel stable even today in all the four metros of the country like Delhi-Mumbai. Yes, according to government oil companies, this morning in Gautam Budh Nagar district (Noida-Greater Noida), petrol is being sold at 27 paise cheaper at Rs 96.65 per liter and diesel by 26 paise at Rs 89.82 per liter.
With this, today there is no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in other big cities of UP. Retail rates have remained stable in Bihar as well. If we talk about crude oil, there is a big jump in its prices in the last 24 hours. Brent crude was up nearly $2 this morning at $82.70 a barrel. The rate of WTI has also gone up by about $1.25 to reach $77.25 per barrel today. Today petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.65 and diesel is Rs 89.82 per liter while in Mumbai petrol is Rs 106.31 and diesel is Rs 94.27 per liter.
While petrol in Chennai is Rs 102.63 and diesel is Rs 94.24 per liter, petrol in Kolkata is Rs 106.03 and diesel is Rs 92.76 per liter. With this, petrol has become Rs 96.65 and diesel Rs 89.82 per liter in Noida. Whereas in Sriganganagar, petrol has become Rs 112.93 and diesel Rs 98.11 per liter. Apart from this, petrol has become Rs 96.57 and diesel Rs 89.76 per liter in Lucknow.
