Famous TV actor Fahman Khan has mentioned his late brother Faraaz Khan in many interviews. Faraz has worked in films like Mehndi, Fareb. He passed away in 2020. Fahman said he never took advantage of his brother being an actor. If that were the case, he wouldn't have started with television. It was also told that Faraaz died of black fungus. Not many people knew about it then.   

Fahman Khan is a popular face of television. After the character of Aryan Singh Rathore in the Imli show, he made a household name. Fahman has earlier told that Faraz was his half-brother. In one of his interviews, he discussed with his brother about his bond and those difficult 28 days in the hospital after which his brother died. Fahman said that his brother and his journey were of different times, so he could not get any help. He said that if he had to take help from his brother, he would have been in films. His brother was a film actor while Fahman started working from television.  

Fahman said that his brother was in the hospital for the first 28 days of his death. "First of all, I want to tell people that it was black fungus that killed them. He passed away six months before people came to know about the disease due to Covid. We were in the hospital for 28 days and were preparing ourselves in different ways. We were accepting that his health was deteriorating with each passing day. He further said that he had recorded the last conversation with his brother on the phone. Fahman says that Faraz had even forgotten his name. It was a heart-breaking conversation. He said that at that time it was important to understand that he would not be able to live like this. Fahman's family was ready for what was going to happen next." 

Fahman speaks, I still feel he is around me. I am watching what I am doing. He told that he was shooting for his time will come when his brother passed away. The schedule was very tight. He passed away in Bengaluru at night and returned to the set in the morning. Fahman told that in the serial he had to do a scene of being sad in front of his mother's photo. The song was playing in the background. He broke down when he heard this. There were real emotions in the scene and he cried bitterly. The director hugged him from behind.
