Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav's troubles seem to be far from over. He has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) once again in connection with the money laundering case related to the snake venom party. Elvish has been asked to appear before the ED's Lucknow unit on July 23.
According to senior ED officials, the case was initially registered by the Gautam Buddh Nagar police. This is not the first time Elvish has been summoned for questioning. He was previously called in on July 8, but he had requested a few days' time, citing his presence abroad.
The ED had registered a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in May this year, alleging a large sum of money was involved in the snake venom party incident. Elvish was initially arrested on March 17 and was remanded to 14 days' judicial custody. He was later granted bail by a local court five days later.
The ED investigation is focused on the financial transactions related to the snake venom party, which allegedly involved high-end drugs and liquor. The agency is probing the source of funds used for the party and whether any illegal activities were involved.
Elvish Yadav has been in the spotlight since his win on Bigg Boss OTT 2, but his recent troubles have tarnished his image. His legal team has maintained that he is cooperating with the investigation and will appear before the ED as required.
The snake venom party case has attracted significant attention due to its sensational nature and the involvement of high-profile individuals. The ED's investigation is ongoing, and it remains to be seen what further developments emerge in the case.
In the meantime, Elvish Yadav's fans are eagerly waiting for him to clear his name and get back to his YouTube channel, where he has a massive following. However, the ED's summons has cast a shadow over his career, and only time will tell how this saga unfolds.
