New Delhi: overwhelmed with the state of education in New Delhi, Minister of State at Maharashtra Government Sanjay Bansode has said that the Delhi model of education will be adopted in Maharashtra as well.
The statement came after Bansade visited two Delhi government-run schools, Kautilya Government Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya and School of Excellence. "He spoke with the children there and came to know about the Business Blasters program. During his visit, he was also introduced to the Deshbhakti Curriculum and the model of the School of Specialized Education. On this occasion, Mr Sanjay Bansode said that he was extremely impressed after meeting the students of government schools of Delhi," a release shared by Delhi government read.
Bansade said that the Government of Maharashtra would also adopt the education model of Delhi in the state. Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi Government is ready to support the Maharashtra Government to improve the public education system, it added.
Sisodia further said that a change can be brought into the education system of the country by learning from each other and working together. Bansode told Sisodia that he was asked by NCP chief Sharad Pawar to visit the Delhi government schools, learn from their education model and emulate the same in Maharashtra, according to the statement issued by the Deputy CM office.
