In Shevgaon of Ahmednagar district, Sanjay Nangre protested by sitting amidst the water and mud accumulated on the road. His protest was aimed at drawing the attention of the administration towards the problem of waterlogging and the problems caused by it. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in Pune. The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate rains in the next three to four days. Along with this, there is also a possibility of general cloudiness in some areas. According to the recently received data, Lonavala has recorded the highest rainfall of 115.5 mm, while Vadgaon Sheri has received 113.5 mm of rain.

Waterlogging problem and administrative responses

Due to heavy rains in Maharashtra, water and mud have accumulated on the roads, causing a lot of difficulties for the local people. Traffic has been affected due to waterlogging and water problem has also arisen at many places.
