Lawmakers Campaigning gathered rate of knots in poll-bound northeastern states with the BJP kicking off its campaign in Nagaland and Congress leaders from many states reaching Meghalaya for Pre-Poll-campaigning.
All political players are putting efforts in the election pitches of the three northeast states as polling dates are closer.
In a bid,Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two election rallies in Santirbazar, South Tripura district, Tripura on Thursday.
Slamming the opposition party PM Modi said, “Communist Party does not believe in 'gantantra' they believe in violence & 'gun-tantra' said PM Modi in Agartala's Shanti bazaar Tripura
PM added, “Now the people of Tripura will not stand the Communist party's govt, bid them such a farewell that they cannot return. aur ye vasuli tantra aur atyachaar ak karobar na chalayen,”PM Modi lauded.
PM Modi condemned ruling party as saying “People suffered under Left rule for 25 years”.
He further said "People of Tripura have suffered for 25 years due to the misrule of Left party. I urge people of the state to remove them from power," Modi said. "What is the reason that Left government in Tripura is neither ensuring the minimum wages and nor implementing the recommendations of seventh pay commission," Modi asked.
Nagaland and Meghalaya will witness polling on February 27 while Tripura is voting on 18 February.
