Sonbhadra: UP CM Yogi Adityanath will visit the affected village of Sonbhadra massacre on Sunday (21st July) tomorrow. He will meet the victims at the district hospital of Sonbhadra. According to the information received, CM Yogi will visit the affected village of Sonbhadra at 11.45 am and meet the affected families. On the other hand, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) Chairperson Nandkumar will visit the district on July 22 to investigate the Sonbhadra massacre along with his 5-member team.

It may be mentioned that 10 people were killed in a land dispute in Umbha village under Ghoraval police station area of Sonbhadra. The village had a trust called Adarsh Cooperative several years ago, with a total of 600 bigha land. The cooperative trust included 2 IAS officers. who sold 100 bigha land to local head Yagywat Bhutia and his friend two years ago. The land on which the villagers were occupying and farming.

Earlier on Wednesday, the village chiefs rushed to capture the land along with dozens of relatives and supporters as well as armed men.
