Bhopal: Amar Singh, father of Vishnu Dutt Sharma, president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh unit, has died in Gwalior on Saturday night. He was 93 and battling a coronavirus infection. State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, former CM Kamal Nath and other leaders have mourned the death of Sharma's father.
According to information received from BJP's state office, Amar Singh, father of state president Sharma, was ill for the past few days. He was undergoing treatment in Gwalior. He breathed his last late Saturday. Sharma issued a message to the BJP workers and requested that they do not come to attend the funeral. Because father Amar Singh Corona was suffering. He said that I can feel all of you people's condolences.
On the demise of Sharma's father, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan expressed condolences saying, "Sad news of the demise of the revered father of BJP state president Vishnu Dutt Sharma was received.
